An Old Man With Wings?
After reading the two short stories--A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings and Light is Like Water, make up a short story of your own. Your story should borrow from the school of Magical-Realism in that you will bring together something completely normal and everyday with something surreal/magical and far-out. Your post should be at least 300 words long.

Once upon a time, there was a boy who had to be bothered with homework during the weekend. He had just bought 3 new videogames. This story occurs Saturday, September 3,2060. His day started out great! The boys mother, who sold real estate, had to show houses. So I... I mean the boy went along, since there was nothing else to do at the boy's house. His mom allowed him to take one of his music cd on the trip. They flew from house to house in their hover car. The customer only had 1house she liked. It consisted of titanium floors and touch screen refrigators. At the end of the showing, the boy was extremely hungary, so his mom stoped by aBurger King. Afterwards, they went back to their side of town so the boy's mom could trade in some shoes. While his mom and sister went inside the shoe store, the boy and his dad visited the gamestop to look around. Although the boy's parents did not intend on spending money, the boy walked out with 3 videogames. The boy was enjoying himself at home. He ate just about everything he could find. At around 8:45, the boy's mom told him to work on his lit/comp. homework. The boy was furious but he did not say a word. He went in the dinning room and did as mom asked. Well, that same situation occured decades ago to a boy with the same name.... ROBERT CORKER.
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time there was a tall girl who just loved to play basketball.She would live for it, breath it, and also loves it so much. So one day her friend who dose nothing at all but plays around and keeps her friend spriti up about basketball said "Are you playing in the game today." She said "Yah." The girl had a game on Friday Agianst Creekside High School. Sh played her game her friend was screaming and chanting her name and she did a great job. She had 12 points, 9 assists, and 10 rebounds. She was going to her car when the game was over and something flew over her car and landed on the side of the passanger side of the car. As she get's in her car and locks the door's and leave's. Whatever it was that just fell out of the sky follows her to her house. Her mother wasn't there her father or her older sister wasn't there either. She Goes up stairs to her room lock her room door and the something that was at her car is now at her room window. So she start's to scream as he comes inside. She says " DON'T COME ANY CLOSER." As he comes closer his arms goes out by his side and things start to come out of his back. She passes out on the ground as he picks her up and put her on her bed and leave's. He said " I just scared my little sister and she passes out on me oh I'm coming back to my house tomorrow." The next day she wakes up and think about what happen. She goes down Staris and smells pancakes, bacon, toast, and eggs and see the orange juice. Her mother, father, and older sister was home. Everything was clear to her. They all leave and goes to work then all of a sudden she see's the something from last night and decided to stay claim. It was her older brother who had died and she has no clue about him or where he cam from. They sat down and talked and had a very long and good conversation he says " I'm your guradian angel Vanessea." She says " How do you know my name?" he said " Ask mom and dad about me!!" When he left and parents came home from work she stops them at the door and asked them did she ever have an older brother. That sat down and told her about him " his name was Julian and he was an NBA Player and died because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. " She thought about it and says " H played basketball an I do to I need to know more about my brother Julian."
ReplyDeleteIn the time 1624 in the rolling hills and valleys of Iowa there lived a young Cherokee man of about 14, his name was Adahy which means “one who lives in the woods”. But Adahy didn’t live in the woods he actually lived on the outskirts of the woods in his small village. One day Adahy’s father sent him into the woods to gather wood for the fire. Adahy reluctantly did as his father requested, since he was the oldest of the children in his village he was expected to do all the chores that require going off unattended. But this time he went farther into the woods than usual. As Adahy was bending down to pick up a piece of wood he heard something that sounded like a whisper. “I must be imagining things.” Adahy thought to himself. Adahy went down to pick up another piece of wood and out of the corner of his eye he saw one branch on one tree move. “Surely that cannot be the wind, for if it was it would not be only one branch on a certain tree.” Adahy thought. Adahy slowly straightened up and stood very still. All of the sudden Adahy heard a deafening chant of “TRESSPASSER, TRESSPASSER, TRESSPASSER!” Then a booming voice directly behind Adahy bellowed “Silence!” and all the chanting ceased immediately as if rehearsed. “Where are you? Who are you? Show you!” said a frightened yet steadfast Adahy. “I’m right here, in front of you.” said a noble voice. All Adahy saw was trees all around. He looked closely at the tree in front of him and noticed there was a face on the tree. “My name is Gahege. Go now before your father becomes worried.” So without speaking Adahy gathered his wood and left the woods. When he came back from gathering the woods he told his father what happened. His father thought it was just a tall tale, “Silly boy trees can’t talk.” said Adahy’s father. So he had Adahy tell the tale to the whole village. Any traveler that came through the village was told the story by someone in the village. The story had become a folk tale. Eventually when Adahy had become a man and had children of his own he told them the story of the time when he went into the woods and a tree talked to him.

There once lived a nerdy little geek named Agatha. Agatha was your average little band geek, who had no friends, made excellent grades, was teased about her lame clothes and huge dorky glass. Agatha had only one true love and passion, and that passion was to garden and to plant things. From vegetables to flowers, Agatha would garden it. This dorky little band geek had a thumb as green as a freshly ripened Granny Smith apple. If you couldn’t find Agatha in her room studying, or at the library reading, then you could find her in her spacious back yard garden. Everyday before and after school, Agatha'd be outside planting a different type of plant flower or vegetable. One day, Agatha grew tired of planting the same old things, so she decided not to garden for a few days or weeks until she longed for her garden again. One this one particular day, the young geek noticed a new garden shop called BED, GRASS, AND BEYOND. As she passed the new garden shop, she thought, "Maybe if I look around, then I'd be able to find some new things to plant in my once passion filled garden." Entering the garden shop, the smell of fresh sod mixed with rich soil greeted her at the door. Walking thru the aisles of the store, Agatha saw flowers with pink and red pointy petals some plants with zig zag edges with odd shapes and designs on them. So Agatha decided to purchase some of the grotesque plant seeds. Once Agatha got home to her garden, she began planting her strange new plants; a few days passed and Agatha noticed that the soil were she panted the seeds turned into a golden yellow color. A few more days passed by and the plant was over 10 feet tall and had many little eyes looking at her. Pretty soon, eyes were with noses, the noses and eyes were with mouths, and then the eyes, noses, and mouths were with faces all talking and looking at her. Agatha then started to become friends with all of the faces on the 10 foot tall plant, but Agatha became extra close to one face named Yakujah."Will you do me a huge favor Agatha?" said Yakujah."Sure", said Agatha in an exited voice."What is it?""Okay, I want you to go back to BED, GRASS, AND BEYOND and go straight to her back room, get 4 rabbit ears, 7 snake tongues, and 3 rats' breath. When you get those ingredients, mix them with water then, come back to the garden immediately and I'll tell you want to done next." Yakujah said with an evil smirk on her face. Agatha did exactly what her plant face friend said to do. "Now, throw the ingredients on the soil where the plant grows." said Yakujah. Again, Agatha did exactly what her plant face friends said do and the soil again turned golden and yellow. The whole plant with all the faces was transformed into a beautiful dark skinned female with dark brown features and skin as smooth as buttermilk. Once the female did a huge stress reliving stretch and cried out how good that stretch felt, she pushed Agatha into the colored soil and taunted "Bye-bye, Agy." No one ever heard from or saw Agatha again.
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time there was boy name Al who woke up with his pincky toe missing. He started crying to his mother saying his pincky toe is missing. His mother told him to look around the house. AL looked under his bed, and T.V. He checked his and socks but no luck. Al checked his closet and toy box but still no luck. He went into the kitchen and started to check all of the draws. He threw spoons, forks, and knifes all over the floor. He checked the refrigerator and moved everthing out of it. But Al never found his pincky toe. He checked is game room and movie room but it wasn't there. Al went into his little sister room Kourney room and checked her diary, hair box, and toy box. But still no luck. Al went to his back yard to look. He checked hid Dad's shed but it wasn't there. He started to dig up sand from his playground. Al dug up several holes but still no luck. He checked his dog Sasha doghouse. He looked under her bowls but it wasn't there. He went into the laundry and checked all the hampers but it wasn't threre. Al checked the washing machine. When he checked it he fell inside and got stuck. He was screaming and crying so loud that his mother heard from the kitchen. She came and freed him. He ran to his room mad. He was brainstorming. He thought of all the stops in the houdse. Al went to the living room started look between the couches and under the couches. He by the lamp but it wasn'there. He looked inside the candy dish but still no luck. He sat on the couch and started to think again. All called his cousin Kerron and ask him he see his pincky toe lastnight. Kerron said he didn't see it. Al called his brother that lives in Mars and ask him did he see it. His brother told know he did not see it. Al went go check the clothes that he had yesterday. But pincky toe wasn't in there. He looked in his pillow case but the toe wasn't there. He checked the his pants pockets and found it. He didn't relized that his pinckt toe was in his pockets. Al ran to his mother and told her that he found his toe. He called his cousin back and told that he found his toe. He also called back his brother and told him that he found his toe. Al lived happly ever after.
ReplyDeleteOne day i was walking down the sreet and i saw a dragon. The dragon gave me a mean look that alomost looked like he wanted to bite me. Im not scared of no one so i flicked him for and ran. i looked back and he was chasing me. he was running so fast because he disliked me so much. i got tired and slowed down, and all i saw was a big huge fat nasty fire breathing drangon come full speed at me. so i rean some more and i hid in a bush but the dragon found me so he bit me in the foot and i said ouch! so i called the police and now the dragon is locked up. now his homie are looking for me for snitching but im hidding out in my hide out for now.i went to the store and i saw a moose askin a lady were are the patatoes. she said isle five so he went to isle five and there were no patatoes and the moose spazzes ot and pulled out a gun and shoots the lady in the head. i ran out the store and i saw the dragon and his buddies . i ran to the police station no one was there so i ran home no one was there so i was trapped and the dragon had a button on his back that said off so i tricked him into turning around and i pressed the button then he died
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time there was a little girl named Lisa. This little girl was a normal little girl like the rest of them. She went back and forth to school every day as all the kids did, but on one particular school day in the early spring as Lisa was walking home from school, listening to the sound of the birds sing, looking at the beautiful flowers as they had began to bloom, rushing to reach her home so that she could do her homework. As she approached her front door she heard some unusual voices coming from inside her home. She knew it could have not been her mother or father because they had work that day, she was the only child and only the cat and dog was supposed to be there. So before entering the house she stood there for a while to listen and try to figure out exactly what could be going on inside her house. After listening for a while and no longer hearing the voices, Lisa stuck the key into the lock and proceeded to unlock the door and slowly push the door open. As she walked inside the first thing she noticed was that the tv had been left on so then she thought “Oh that must be what I heard talking as I came upon the porch”, then she saw her little dog “Ryan” and her little kitten “muffin” both sitting in front of the couch and as she approached the couch they both began to come towards her. As she began to do her homework, Lisa began to get stuck on this one problem, that she could not figure out, so as she was just sitting there thinking about the question all of a sudden she heard voices shouting out answers so as she turned her head quickly, She saw her pet dog “Ryan” shouting answers and she quickly got up and backed away and said to the dog “SO U CAN TALK” as she backed away some more the dog said to her that “Yes I can talk, I’ve been talking all my life but it can only be between just the both of us.’’ So from that day on after school lisa would go home and do her homework and if she needed help with anything her pet dog “Ryan” would help her.
ReplyDeleteIn 3025 there was something different about the world. Something strange that changed Jennifer’s point of view about life in general. One day Jennifer walked out of her front door, where she waited for her bus to come. About 5 minutes later she began to have this weird tingly feeling. Jennifer realized that she was transforming into a butterfly. She wasn’t for sure if this way a dream or not because this was kind of weird for an ordinary girl. That’s when she heard her bus and transformed back into a human being. Jennifer stepped on her bus and looked around suspiciously, she seen her best friend Ally and rushed to where Ally was sitting. Ally knew something was wrong with her best friend so she asked “hey Jenn are you okay today?” that’s when Jennifer whispered softly and told Ally “five minutes before the bus came I turned into a butterfly.” Ally was so shocked that she couldn’t believe what she just heard. The best friend’s stepped off the bus quietly and walked really fast to the back of the school. Ally told Jennifer that she wanted her to transform into a butterfly. Jennifer felt that tingly feeling and went into the air. Sooner than later Jennifer got checked out of school because she wasn’t feeling well. Jennifer went into her room and stayed in there the whole day. Jennifer walked out her room and fell into a whole Jennifer noticed that her house became transparent. She looked all over for her mom and when she found her, Jennifer told her mom about what was going on. Jennifer’s mom wanted to tell Jennifer about why she has been having that tingly feeling and why she was turning into a butterfly. The reason why Jennifer was having that feeling and was turning into a butterfly was all because, when Jennifer’s mom and dad were young they were taken to labs. And in those labs they were tested and had butterfly genes put inside them and now that they had Jennifer those genes of becoming a butterfly was passed on. Jennifer didn’t understand why her parents waited so long to tell her. That’s when Jennifer transformed into a butterfly and ever since then no one seen Jennifer again.
ReplyDeleteOnce upon of time there was a girl name Lily Joker. Lily was born in the 1990s June 10. Lily around the age of six moved from California to London, huge differ places. She was a sweet kind heart girl with red eyes and dark black hair. I mean her hair was as dark a night sky. Before her and her parents moved, her parents both worked as doctors and lived in a nice sweet beach house in California. She had it all made, her parents were doctors, house was on a beach and her school was a best school in California. Lily life was a rich life any person would want, kid or adult. Then her parents told her she had to move to London. Lily was a respectful kind and never really had emotions like being sad. Nobody knew why but Lily was either happy, but not sad. Anyway so she packed her belongs and helped her parents too with their things. They said there dwells goodbyes to everyone they knew and they were on airplane to London. The strange weird though Lily had in her head was that “Why are we moving away?” “Maybe mommy and daddy have a new job?” she was six at the moment. After the Jokers got settled in their nice, cute, little….. apartment. Now Lily was too little to understand why they have to live in London in apartment. They looked to see their neighbors who they were. Lily wasn’t pleased with the neither neighbors nor apartment. Reason why their apartment was dirty with rats, stray dogs and cats, and trash everywhere. Her neighbors were pretty rude, unkind, and unclean. After they were done Lily wanted an answer so she got one. Both her parents said “Sweetie we did bad thing so we had to move and no more job”. Okay sooo before you know it she turned fifteen. Her life isn’t the life she had before. Her parent’s died when she was nine over drug overdose. Lily lives with her forty year old who abuse her. Another thing she goes to school sometime and sometimes not. Sooo she walked out her so called “boyfriend” apartment for a walk she founds herself flying in the air she don’t know what is going on then BOOM! She at home for some reason so she thinks it’s a dream then she actually been awake. You know why because she is been a ghost since the day before she start flying. She starts to notice she still see herself being alive see how what would still be going on if she was alive. Nobody knew that she really dead but in their eyes she was perfectly fine.
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time there was a girl named Jayd Johnson she was number one in the country, most would also say she was the best that ever played the game. She would practice every single day, there was no one that could ever compete with her. She was only a freshman in high school and she could already dunk the ball.She went through every single drill, every single day like it was the championship game.But one day something strange and scary happened. She tore her ACL. She was benched for months, she would ask her self how am i going to do it? She was hoping that rehab would go really well for her, and she could get back in the game sooner than later. She spent hours and hours riding the bike that would make her knee better and stronger. She would soon be able to walk on it again, she was really excited about that part.One morning she woke up with a smile on her face, and was happy as could be, her knee was feeling great and it was nothing that could being her down,she was going to walk on the knee that day. The first couple of days walking on the knee went great, she also went to a training session that also went really well. But she was so ready to get back on the court she rode that bike for hours and hours. She fell asleep on the bike, talked on the phone on the bike, and even did her homework on the bike. The next day she was just in the gym watching her teammates practice, but she wasn't practicing, her coach wouldn't allow it. After her team was finished practicing, her boyfriend John Wall was still in there, just shooting around. As she was watching him shoot, she would scream "BRICK!" when he missed it. Then her challenged her in a game of 101. Jay,what her boyfriend would call her, would never turn down a game,at first things were going okay before she got really competitive. They were going to 10 and the score was 9 to 8. John had 9 , and Jay had 8. Jay was the type to never give up. She threw off her knee brace, and played heavy defense, didn't let John score again. The score was tied 9-9. Maya threw the ball up, caught it and did a slam dunk 360, came down and bent her knee backwards and both of her legs fell off and the soon to be legend Jayd Johnson blended to death.But at least Jayd left with a undeafted record.
ReplyDeleteonce upon a time there was this really cool guy in school named jamir.He thought he was unscareable.,until the day of the storm.On his way home Jamir saw a swirling looking thing in the sky bt he really didnt may that much attention to it,so he just kept walking..Half way to his house he hears something behind him.As he turns around he see's the swirly thing in the sky now touching the gound following close behind him. While he took off running he was also thinking "why am i the only one who see's this?" All of a sudden "WHOOSSH!!" came the swirly thing in the sky and took poor old Jamir away. When it finally stopped,Jamir was in his room bt little did he know it was the year 3012.He just thought that he was dreaming so he went downstairs like every other morning to the smell of breakfast.When he finally got downstairs he say that his parents were made up of metal an talked funny. When he saw that he freadked out,skipped breakfast and ran back upstairs to his room.. when he did he was thinking "HOW CAN THIS BE" but it was already too late.. His parents were turned into man killing robots.when he opened his door they were just standing there starring at him..

once upon a time there was a girl named sam. she was wonderful. the bad thing was that she had short spikey hair all over her head, and she smelled like poop. i know, thats not attractive. so, of course, as you would figure, sam had no friends. Sam was a lonely child. So, one day as sam walked home from school, alone, she noticed a new store at the mini mall near her house. the lights were off, but th door was open. so she walked in. She felt around the wall, and found a switch, and flicked it on. a spotlight came on and flooded her with light. and as the light hit her body, she was surrounded in a plasma like stuff. And her hair grew long, and got all un-smelly. as she cut the light off, she grew taller and super model ish. she was beautiful for the first time. and she was loving it, to the fullest extent. She came to school the next day and everyone was loving her. even after that she still had no friends, because now everyone was jealous.

So she walked back into the store, and sat in the darkness for an entire day and night. and when she began to smell that smelly smell, the kind of of smell, that she smelled before. She felt sad, but she would rather have people not like her for stinking, than being hated for being gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteIn the year 4022 there lived an ant.The ant is not like are ants this one was 6"5 240LB and lived in homes just like the ones we live in. He has three kids and one larva. He is a field worker that gets praised for his abillity to carry 3x his weight and to tell if crops are good or not. When he gets home he has to listen to his wife complain about all the people on her floor.( people are ant sized). He tells her for the TENTH time in to minutes to just step on them. She does and gets mad at him and kick his thoraxe out the house for the TENTH time in the last two weeks. Then he wakes up and realizes that the whole thing was a dream.
ReplyDeleteIt was Friday the 13th, to those of the past of the GREATEST Friday ever. It was the year 1165 all was normal. The birds were walking and rapping their normal song, the kids on the block were flying their bikes, and the cats and dogs chased each other in the clouds until they fell from the sky.It was such a beautiful day, Katie and Amber were really enjoying their selves. The had been to The Sky High Mall , and had even went to fly their moms rac. (rac- A car that flies. (Running Along Clouds). They live in Atlanta, GA and it was very sunny outside on this particular day. They got on the computer to do their project wich was titled " Why are we out of school today ?" They later found out that it was supposed to be the GREATEST day ever but they research even more and found out that in the past it was the WORST day ever. It was the day when many had alot of things go wrong(but it seemed like from the past to no something had to happen because their day was great....BY FAR.)Katie decided that she wasnt going to continue to read the summuary because it was freaking her out.It was talking about the cruelest deaths that took place on this day and other unnatural things that people recognized.Most people hated this day and would try to stay in. Amber continued to read and as she studied the topic. She found a website and when she clicked the link the power all except the computer went off. she was confused and then a voice came out of the computer and said DONT READ ANY FUTHER.....LEAVE THIS SITE.....IF YOU CONTINUE TO READ BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN AND YOUR LIFE WILL BE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN FOREVER. Amber was in shock she didnt know what it was or how was it possible that the computer was warning her. Katie rushed and exited the link and the power came on. Amber wanted to find out why couldnt she go to the link. She kinda thought it was a joke that editor or inventor of the website made. Katie told Amber not to get back on until their mother came home from work. Amber told her to go away, and Katie said " okay, dont listen to me, fine. Im going for a walk!" As soon as Katie left the house Amber got back on the link,DONT READ ANY FUTHER.....LEAVE THIS SITE.....IF YOU CONTINUE TO READ BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN AND YOUR LIFE WILL BE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN FOREVER. Amber told the computer to shutup it simply said " OKAY". She was shocked but when she read the whole summary she had been way past shocked. Then she decided to go tell her sister what she had found out. When she tried to step outside she saw srac but they were driving on four wheels, birds were flying and singing, kids were riding bikes, and it was raining cats and dogs. She then saw katie running into there home. She was asking whats going on, what happened. All Amber could remember was the computer saying. ReplyDeleteOn April 7, 2039 a scientist woke up out of his sleep ready to start his day. He decided to go ahead and take out the trash and walk to the store. On his way to the store he first saw three midgets laughing. Once he got to the he discovered more midgets, and decided to ask where did they come from. One midget replied "We come from a world not too far." He sat down on a stool and demanded more details. Another midget said "We can show you better than we can tell you." They gave the man directions to go behind the store and you will find thousands of stairs. He went home to call three of his buddies so they can come check the other "world" out with him. His friends agreed, and they prepared for the journey. They packed water, food, flashlights, etc. He took them to the stairs, and they began walking. It took them three days to get there. On day one, they were excited and full of energy. One friend was very curious to find out what was at the bottom of the stairs. On day two, two friends had second thoughts, but looked up and didn't want to go back up all them stairs. On day three, they decided to stop and take a break. They sat on the stairs and took out some food. After their rest, they stated walking again and only had a few more stairs to go. When they got to the bottom, they saw the same exact store that is at the top of the stairs. They realized the world is exactly the same. The next day they wanted to leave, but one friend said "That's too many stairs to go back up." So, they all decided to live in the midget world.
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time there was a girl named Adele. She had a long day at school and was already looking forward to another tiring day at school the next day. Adele was a very hard-working girl, and for this reason nobody ever wanted to talk to her. She was always picked up for never being well-groomed. She focused so hard on her work and academics that she never took care of herself according to hygiene. Every time she comes home she feels relieved from all the harassment coming from the students each day. When she gets off the bus, she goes home and takes a deep breath and throws herself onto the couch. She usually does this to reflect on the days that past her. As she kicked her shoes off to lie down she could hear a boisterous "OUCH!! CAN'T YOU HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR ME?" She looked around herself worried. "Wh..Who said that?" She fearfully mumbled to herself. "Hello?" She asked once again. "Maybe I'm just losing it," she said, "after all, I have been having a bad day." So Adele thought nothing of it. For the next few days she'd follow the same routine, kicking her shoes off to rest. But only these days, she heard no noise afterwards. She went to school and told her friends about it. "Any ideas or suggestions? Don't you guys think this is strange, too?" But since Adele had no friends, there was no hope for anyone believing the story she had told. They all looked at her strange and quickly walked away. "So why was I hearing voices?" That same day, Adele came home and went to lie down on the couch. This time she took the clip out of her hair, drenched and filled with dandruff, and tossed it on the table in front of the couch in the living room. "HEY WATCH IT! DON'T JUST TOSS ME AROUND LIKE THAT!", seemed to be coming from the hair bow. "That's it!" said Adele. Adele finally realized it was her shoes and her hair bow complaining all along. It seems as though Adele not only doesn't get along with her friends, but even her belongings disagree with her. Adele discovered that every object in the house started talking to her and began haunting her every night. In reasoning to that, neighbors all around could hear screams coming from Adele's house. After one night, you could hear silverware flying, slicing, beating, and kicking. Adele was never seen after that night again. It is said that Adele was killed by all the objects in the house, including the mistreated shoes and hair clips.
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time there was a girl named Adele. She had a long day at school and was already looking forward to another tiring day at school the next day. Adele was a very hard-working girl, and for this reason nobody ever wanted to talk to her. She was always picked on for never being well-groomed. She focused so hard on her work and academics that she never took care of herself and her hygiene. Every time she comes home she feels relieved from all the harassment coming from the students each day. When she gets off the bus, she goes home and takes a deep breath and throws herself onto the couch. She usually does this to reflect on the days that past her. As she kicked her shoes off to lie down she could hear a boisterous "OUCH!! CAN'T YOU HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR ME?" She looked around herself worried. "Wh..Who said that?" She fearfully mumbled to herself. "Hello?" She asked once again. "Maybe I'm just losing it," she said, "after all, I have been having a bad day." So Adele thought nothing of it. For the next few days she'd follow the same routine, kicking her shoes off to rest. But only these days, she heard no noise afterwards. She went to school and told her friends about it. "Any ideas or suggestions? Don't you guys think this is strange, too?" But since Adele had no friends, there was no hope for anyone believing the story she had told. They all looked at her strange and quickly walked away. "So why was I hearing voices?", She said to herself. That same day, Adele came home and went to lie down on the couch. This time she took the clip out of her hair, drenched and filled with dandruff, and tossed it on the table in front of the couch in the living room. "HEY WATCH IT! DON'T JUST TOSS ME AROUND LIKE THAT!", seemed to be coming from the hair bow. "That's it!" said Adele. Adele finally realized it was her shoes and her hair bow complaining all along. It seems as though Adele not only doesn't get along with her friends, but even her belongings disagree with her. Adele discovered that every object in the house started talking to her and began haunting her every night. In reasoning to that, neighbors all around could hear screams coming from Adele's house. After one night, you could hear silverware flying, slicing, beating, and kicking. Adele was never seen after that night again. It is said that Adele was killed by all the objects in the house, including the mistreated shoes and hair clips.
ReplyDeleteOnce upon a time there was a boy named Peter. Peter was a good child. He was off track at a point of his life with his grades and he was a freshman in high school and he was trying to get back on track. He was more focused on his work and he was also good in the sport of basketball. So in order to play basketball he had to have good grades. One week of school he had a major project that needed to be turned in. He was ready for it. He couldn't wait to turn in the project, that will boost his grade up. On Friday night, he went to bed smiling, because he couldn't wait to wake up and get started on his project. On Saturday morning, he woke up, at breakfast, and was ready to get started on the project. There was one problem, he couldn't find his backpack. He looked everywhere for that bag. He asked his mom to help him and she couldn't find it. On Sunday he searched again for it, still nowhere to be found. Now he's furious. He waited and waited for the weekend to come, so he could do this major project. When Monday came, he didn't know what to tell his teacher. When in his first class, someone called him to the office. When he arrived in the office, the secretary was holding his bag in her hand. Peter, looking surprised, got his bag and was wondering how did my bag end up here. Knowing he still cant do the project he would just just have to wait until the class came around in which the project as due. While upset, Peter looks down and his backpack vanishes again. He looks toward the door and notices his bag walking. He shakes his head, thinking he's dreaming and still sees the bag walking. The bag walks through the door and he is the only one that can see the bag walking. Everyone else is just sitting being calm. Peter runs out the door and grabs the bag which everyone doesn't see in his hand. So he tells the teacher that hi backpack just walked out the door. The class just busted out . He sat the bag down to show them, but they couldn't see anything. It was almost like the bag was invisible to them. So he sat back down having to keep his bag on his back. He started to think about the past weekend dealing with his backpack. He understood that his backpack walked to school, because it was so used to going in the same direction every day. So he went home telling his mom that his backpack walked to his school, which was the reason he couldn't find it. She didn't believe him, so he ended up having to sleep, take showers, and everything else with his backpack on his back. When someone asked why does he always have on his backpack he has to tell them the truth that it will walk away which no one will believe. Until the high school is over, he will have to carry that same backpack every where he goes. Each bag he buys it will walk, so he will need to find another way to carry around his work for school.
ReplyDeleteone day in an ordinary neighborhood this family was moving in. this family was one big happy family. a new home was a great way to start off with a new baby and a marriage for Mr and Mrs. Springfield. there lived Bill(the older brother), Kayla(the second oldest),Shawn(the middle one),Bobby(the second youngest), and little baby bill(the baby) they called him that because he looks like bill. one day bill decided to try to find a job around town. after moving in they decided to have a big dinner. bill told them how he was looking for jobs and Mr and Mrs. Springfield were asking about the kids day. the next day bill went near this little town they called,"Brownsville" also the name of the town off of power puff girls. anyway, he found a job in a machinery factory. he got the job and started working. one day he decided to try to get there earl before anybody else so he could look his best on the job for the first week. then a machine got jammed while he was sweeping the floor. he went and tried to fix it, all of a sudden the machine was going faster and faster! BOOM! the machine chopped him up into little pieces. the boss couldn't believe it he called the family right away. when they heard the news they bursted into tears, they wished that he never went to that town. their lives wasnt the same without bill in their life. 3 years later little baby bill turned 2 years old and one day he was playing with a strange looking thing. Kayla seen it and said,"OH MY GOD its a women's toe with pink polish!!" the mom came in and took it right away, when she held it she said," i wish my baby bill could talk so he could tell me where he found this toe" and BAM! he started talking. Mrs. Springfield said,"this toe is magical" then they had two wishes left. the family was thinking about wishes when they heard a sound coming from the basement almost like the sound of the machine that killed bill. when they opened the door there it was the killer of bill right at the bottom of the stairs. the mom hurried and closed the door and they ran. they all couldn't believe their eyes. the mom said ,"i wish bill was back alive" the dad said,"no! do you know how he would look, you dont want to see him that way! she said," i dont care i want my son!" and the noise stopped she heard footsteps coming from the basement she ran from upstairs and screamed ,"bill, is that you!?" with tears in her eyes. the lights were off so she couldn't see when she opened to door BAM! the lights turned on but what she didn't know that the husband used the third wish to wish him back, he didn't want the wife to see their son the was he died!" ReplyDeleteounce upon a time there was a kid named kipp he could have swore he had powers.every night he would dream of holding the wotld in his hands.his mom got a call telling her that she has a trip to the moon in 48 hours.2 dayts later she was getting ready to leave but what she didint know was that her son kipp sneaked into the car with herso when she got there and seen the moon moving she thought wow. how is that and soon enough kipp was there.
ReplyDeleteHer name was Sarah Parker and she was 9 years old. She was a bright kid with lots of potential, stayed to herself and didnt speak too much. Her parents were both doctors so she was dedicated with lots of income in her household. She was the only child and got whatever she wanted but didnt have not one friend. Nobody liked Sarah because of what she had. Sarah didnt care to much about friends but since she was the only one in the hosue she wanted a puppy or rabbit. Sarah told her mama that she wanted either of the two so her mama got her a puppy. It was a pretty puppy with black and white polka dots. Srarh loved the puppy and named it cupcake. One day after school Sarah came home mad because the kids had talked about her so bad that day. She came home talking out loud and all of a suuden the dog started talking back to her. Sarah looked every where because she didnt know what was talking, but the puppy said "its me talking..cupcake." From that day on Sarah was happy and her attitude had changed so much because she had now had a friend that she could come home and talk to.
ReplyDeleteonce upon of time there was this 8 year old girl and her name was brenda. she was very smart and bright young girl. she was a type of girl that new wat she was doing. she didnt really have any friends to talk to that she knew, no brother or sisters. she was the only child. when she went to school she never talked to anybody and never attempt to talk, she was a quiet person. so a week later she saw this girl and she was talking to her. she came and she was never that happy ever end her life because she had someone to talk to, and that when she started meeting other people.
ReplyDeleteOn a dark and gloomy night, silence spoke a language of its own. An unsafe spirit shook the streets of Atlanta. Jackson Richards was walking home haplessly from a long days work. His head phones in on full blast, he is zoned out. He feels his text message alert going off in his pocket. He grabs his phone and replies back to his friend. As he puts it back in his pocket he glances up and see what appears to be a flying saucer. He doesn’t pay it any mind. He figures that its just a figment of his imagination. He turns on the street that his house located on and strolls toward his home. Suddenly he is blinded by the brightest blue light he has ever seen. Curious at the moment he goes to wear the light was coming from. Stalking the light, he hides behind trees surrounding it. Surprised at what he is witnessing he sprints home as quickly and quietly as possible. He runs inside his home and locks everything that could be locked. Scared at the moment, he feels the urge to call a friend and explain what he has seen. He picks up the phone but the dial tone wouldn’t come on. He then tries to use his cell phone but abruptly loses signal. Frightened now, he runs to his closet to grab his steel bat. BOOM BOOM BOOM. Three loud knocks broke the silence that flooded the house. Jackson looked through the peep hole to see who was there, but no one was in sight. He quickly turns around sees that the window has been opened. Jackson could feel the presence of another being in his house. Creeping around the house trying to find whoever has unlawfully entered, Jackson begins to hear crashing dishes. He swiftly runs to the kitchen to see the scariest thing he ever laid eyes on. This being was tall, big headed, grey, and eyes that looked like big black pools of death. The being zapped Jackson and itself into the spaceship Jackson spotted earlier. That was the last time anyone has ever heard from Jackson again.
ReplyDeleteI sat in math class, waiting eagerly for the bell to ring. After what seemed like forever, it finally did. I ran out of the room into the halls, which were crowding up fastly. A friend of mine walked up to me showed me this story he wrote for english. It didn't make any sense, and was all about ducks. As I was about to hand back the paper to him, I realized that everyone in the hall had turned into ducks. One of them looked at me and said "The Bruins suck!" I kicked the insolent duck and it exploded into a brilliant rainbow.
ReplyDeleteI gotta lay off the acid, I thought to myself. I blinked several times. I realized I hadn't kick a duck, but my friend Steve in the foot. He looked down at me and said something dumb, I looked up, and realized that his neck was getting longer. It crashed through the ceiling, and a cloud of asbestos filled the hallway. I turned away and closed my eyes. When I opened them, I was in the Serengeti Plains! There was a lion, who looked at me. I turned and ran away. I looked back and to see the lion charging after to me. I collided with it and fell backwards onto the ground.
When I opened my eyes, I was looking up at a satellite dish. What was I doing in the courtyard? I decided I needed a drink. I went into the cafe to buy a water. It cost a two bucks. When I was back in the hallway, I looked at the water. It was laughing at me.
"Why are you laughing at me little water bottle?" I asked.
It smiled back, "I have come to eat your world"
I laughed at the water bottle. I took the top of and took a drink, but spit it all out. I looked at the floor. It was covered it spaghetti. But then it started to move! This isn't spaghetti! It's wormscovered in blood! They're all twisted together into one large strand.what the world.....
We are at Movies ATL at Camp Creek Market Place now. I hear the buildings talking to me and it seems like every time we hang out something bad happens. So, I’m here to meet my boyfriend and everything is going smooth so far. I only have one concern because she keeps eyeing and starring at him and he says she’s trying to flirt, but why would she do something like that. Therefore, I ignored it and we went on with our date. It was now starting to get dark and the date is over so my best friend comes to my house.Now, we are in the car and my mother asks how was the movies and my best friend replies, “ It was very fun, especially since I meet someone new.” So, in my head I’m very happy because I don’t have to worry about her taking my boyfriend. One of my pet peeves is someone taking what is mines. Now we are pulling up in my driveway. We are In my room and I notice my locket is missing from around my neck. I start to feel around and backtrack because my boyfriend gave it to me and it is love to me. My best friend says, “Are you looking for this?” instantly I get frustrated, my body says to fight her, but I’m the bigger person. I just take it back and put it around my neck not knowing the evil she has yet to do. Keerica has yet to see what I can do I want…. What did you say best friend? “Nothing Keerica I was just talking to myself. My boyfriend is telling me the same story that my best friend is still trying to talk to him. At this point I confront her because I want to know the truth. Come to find out she has been trying to talk to him and is telling him lies. Even though she is my best friend I slap her and now we fight. After the fight, even more information comes out about the wrong thing that she has done. At this point, I’ve lost my best friend and my boyfriend. I can’t believe that I went off on him about it, but at that time I was upset. Now, everything is going wrong and I also have to clear things up with him because it wasn’t even his fault. Ugh, why are all these things happening to me right now, my life is out of control!
ReplyDeleteFinally, I just really can’t believe all this. Whoa!! Best friend please don’t shoot! I’m sorry I beat you up please don’t shoot……… BANG! Whoa! Am I alive? Am I in heaven? Whew! I’m glad that was only a dream. That was the weirdest and craziest dream ever. I have to call my friend and boyfriend about this! Wow, that will go down in history, I surely have a story to tell!
From Orlando,Florida is a young boy age of 14 years name Lucas Brutus. He was cool and laid back and a game freak out of this world.That is all he like to do besides eating and watching TV.One day after he came home from school he always notice that he could stick his bones out of his back and keep them out for along time.He though wings would grow out of their one day.The next morning he woke up and got ready for school something felt different about his back. It was irritating him all day he came home and went straight to bed.He had a dream his wings grown and when he woke up in the air. He felt his back and felt feathers his dream came true. He went to go look at it and they were not white but very dark black one of his favorite colors he kept it a secret forever.
