Write a poem about Thanksgiving. Your poem can be about what giving thanks means to you, or it can be about the food, or it can be about Indians and Pilgrims.
Your poem must follow the following form:
3 Stanzas
4 lines per stanza
Rhyme scheme ABAB CDCD EFEF
For example:
Thanksgiving leaves crunch;
The west-wind blows in cool.
Families gather in a bunch
Children act a fool.
The bird goes in the oven hot,
Plucked clean and basted juicy.
The gravy steams out of the pot;
Let's eat the golden goosey!
Assembled 'round the table set
The dinner makes us happy.
After dinner we soon forget
And take a November nappy.

with the beans,the rice,the chitlings',with cran

for blessings recieved from january through december
ill tell u why im so greatfull
i have a roof over my head,
i have plenty of food to eat
i sleep in a comfortable bed
got clothes on my back and shoes on my feet
thier are plenty of people in this world

The way the turkey is set up is pretty neat

my first semester at westlake has been OK . as a freshmen it has been a little hard adjusting,because i procrastinate alot. next semester i will make sure it is a change ,because it is effecting me greatly grades wise. no more will i continue putting stuff off .i will get the job done then an there. though two good things i can say that this semester has brought me. an eye opener,i have realized that only one person has my back and that me. The second thing is that it is wise for you to stay on the good side with your teachers ,because your fiat is in their hands .if you expect to get into good colleges or recommendations you better just have a teacher on your side .as an individual i have groan up and not depend on everybody else to do things for me. it wasn’t easy ,but at some point in life i had to do it .i just choose to do it now .as a freshman yes i did make alot of mistakes starting off with hanging with the wrong crowd,skipping,but that ain’t the move .its not fun just knowing the possibility of getting caught ,i know I aint want that phone call home. Noway ! So i stoped before it got to that point ,otherwise it would be a problem .overall my westlake expectations have been what i figured .growing up is really the key to success and I know I have a lot more growing up to do.
